Print it Yourself -Lenticular File Preparation Service.

Whether you’re a digital print shop, commercial offset printer, or an enthusiast, we make it easy for you to achieve high quality lenticular print results. We understand that there can be long time intervals between lenticular print jobs, and that having to re-educate oneself or staff on how to do it each time is wasteful, when all you want to do is get on with printing the job. So, all you have to do is accurately fill in the order form, and we’ll send you a download link to the print ready PDF.

Please provide us with each image to be interlaced in either Acrobat (.PDF), Photoshop (.PSD), or TIFF (.TIF) format. Use the values calculated in the order form when setting up your file dimensions: 1-Up Document Gross Width (“) and 1-Up Document Gross Height (“).

Alternatively, we can accept a HumanEyes Creative3D (.LDOC) file should you wish to setup the interlace composition yourself. (You can download a free Mac OS version from the internet, and conduct your own small scale test print).

For a 2-Image Flip effect, we’ll require image 1 and image 2, both set up at the exact same size, resolution, and colour space. Your supplied files must not exceed 7,000 pixels in either the width or height. If your design contains text (or a logo) which appears then disappears, or changes wording, then please provide files which allow us to access those elements separate to the background image. This can be a layered Photoshop file with rasterised text layers, or PDF file saved from Illustrator with text converted to outlines. (Please don’t supply PDF files from CANVA).

For an Animation, Zoom, Morph, or 3D effect, you’ll supply the image series for us to interlace. Prior to ordering, please email us details of the 1-Up print size, including the lenticular lens design, intended lens direction, and output device resolution across the lenticules that you will use, so that we can inform you of how many images should be in the image series.

To be clear, we are not creating the Animation, Zoom, Morph, nor 3D image series. You’ll do the creative yourself, and we’ll interlace using our almost 25 years experience. You will also be responsible for ripping the interlaced file as per the screening method of your choice e.g. diffusion dither, FM (Stochastic) or AM (halftone screening).

For large interlaced prints, it may be necessary for us to generate the interlaced file at an asymmetric resolution (e.g. 600 x 300 ppi as opposed to 600 x 600 ppi), whilst maintaining the full resolution across the lenticules. This is in order to avoid output file size limitations within our HumanEyes software, and likely your rip as well. If file size is still problematic, we’ll reduce the resolution across the lenticules to 1/2 or 1/4 the intended printing resolution.

We’ll include alignment bars around the perimeter of Step & Repeat interlaced files.
